"Good morning," said I to the boy eating breakfast, "did you know that today is Granny's 88th birthday?"

"Eighty-eight?  Are you sure?" he questioned.

"Yes, I'm sure.  Granny is 88 today."

"Wow," said he, "it seems like only yesterday she was 85!"
